“We continue to soar high, higher than what we aim.”

This was the uplifting and challenging line expressed by Annabelle B. Pilapil, the EVSU-Tanauan Campus Director, as she warmly opened the celebration of the 18th Charter Day Anniversary, held at the Tanauan Campus Grounds, August 5.

“The spirit of unity and transparency, coupled with passion to do the task expected from us could lead to a better EVSU,” Pilapil stated.

She reminded everyone that the Campus Director’s office opens its doors to the staff and employees for them to air out their concerns or issues, instead of discussing them elsewhere, which could hardly be given solutions.

Further, she said that openness promotes camaraderie within the community, as the institution strives for a competent and brighter future.

“The institution serves not only for itself, ” Pilapil said.

She added that success, rights, and privileges are not only for the university but for everyone who belongs to the community.

EVSU’s 18th Charter Day anniversary is a testament that said institution continues to soar high in realization of its mission and vision. A reminder that the once “Leyte Institute of Technology” is now one of the Region’s known and top universities, through the efforts and support of internal and external stakeholders.
