PROGRAM MISSION

To develop competent Electrical Engineers that serves the society and contributes for the sustainable development through high quality education in the field of Electrical Engineering.


PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES

The Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering of Eastern Visayas State University – Tanauan Campus, after five years of graduation, shall:

PEO1.  Competent electrical engineering professional in diverse fields of specialization such as manufacturing, navigation, telecommunications, information technology, biomedical, instrumentation and control, and Building Management  Systems.

PEO2.  Developed a sense of professional and ethical responsibility, and social awareness for a better society and environment.

PEO3.  Involved in lifelong learning through continuous professional development.


PROGRAM OUTCOMES

By the time of graduation, students of the program shall have developed the ability to:

  1. Apply knowledge of mathematics and sciences to solve complex engineering problems;
  2. Develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data;
  3. Design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability, in accordance with standards;
  4. Function effectively on multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams that establish goals, plan tasks, and meet deadlines; (based on PQF Level 6 descriptor)
  5. Identify, formulate and so.ve complex problems in electrical engineering;
  6. Recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering practice;
  7. Communicate effectively with a range of audiences;
  8. Understand the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic environmental, and societal context;
  9. Recognize the need for additional knowledge and engage in lifelong learning;
  10. Articulate and discuss the latest developments in the field of electrical engineering; (PQF Level 6 descriptor)
  11. Apply techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for electrical engineering practice; and
  12. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of engineering and management principles as a member and/or leader in a team to manage projects in multidisciplinary environments.
